As a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional, Richard Hess has been meeting the accounting needs of corporations and individuals in the Dallas area for more than twenty years. He currently works as a controller in the private sector. He handles all books for real estate investments and oil field equipment manufacturing. He specializes in finance and accounting. With his careful analytical mind and precise computational skills, he can perform accurate auditing tasks. He ensures that financial transactions are correctly represented.
Richard began his career in the accounting industry as a sophomore in high school, working as a bookkeeper for an accounting firm. During this time, he learned how to ensure the accuracy of the books, prepare tax returns, and perform other essential accounting functions vital to running a successful business.
In 2018, Richard took a full-time position at a CPA firm that later merged with a top 150 CPA firm that same year. He worked as a full-time employee there and advanced to CAS Manager before leaving in 2024. However, Richard has long wanted to assist with the accuracy of books and the preparation of tax returns. To pursue this passion, he focused on growing Assisted Business Services LLC as a side venture and became an Enrolled Agent.
